More About Argos

Argos was rescued with 5 other dogs (Roseanne, Marisa, Carmilla, Lisa and Jenny) from a place where she was kept inside a small box.  All of the dogs were kept in atrocious conditions.  We don’t know how long she’d been there for, but it was quite some time.

Argos is a darling boy, can be a bit shy and hesitant in approaching new people to begin with, but given the time he will get comfortable and interacts well.  He gets on well with other dogs, although he has shown a little bit of food aggression, so best to let him feed away from other dogs, especially when first in new surroundings. He can walk on a lead but would love more walk time to get even better at it.  Doesn’t have any jumping tendencies. Staff have been keeping watch over his eyes – there is some question about whether he may have a mild allergy issue, as there is some discharge at times around his eyes – but staff and vet have not been able to determine what this is related to as yet.

Argo is approximately 25 lbs.
