This is a dog from Woodbourne Kennels and Rescue. We are helping to rehome these dogs. In early September 2023, Dorin Boyce, the proprietor of the kennels, suffered a horrendous attack in her home and was robbed. She has been badly hurt and hospitalized. This is a huge blow to all of us, but massively so for the dogs of Woodbourne. They need all the help they can get. Please consider adopting a Woodbourne dog.

Buddy was rescued from an abusive boyfriend of his owner, who not only beat her but her dog as well.  Buddy was in the RSPCA for an injury to his right hind leg which we were told was broken. His right hind leg muscles are nearly non-existent.  He has also had some surgery on his hip area as we can see the stitch marks.  He is running around but the leg is not functioning properly.  He is young and eager to please.  He loves to be with humans and providing you touch him he will sit quite happily between your feet.  He needs a supervised introduction to other dogs and would be great as an only dog.  He hasn’t had a lot of hands on treatment – except for kicking, tossing around and locking in a cupboard!  Amazing that he still has so much love to give to a kind human.  He walks well on a leash – has high energy . Buddy is  very good on a few commands and a quick learner. He could definitely do with some TLC.
