Harry

Harry was found at the beginning of July 2021 extremely malnourished wandering the streets and was taken straight into a foster family who are were getting to know him. He is currently living with a couple and their one year dog. Harry and the dog have got on from the beginning and they are ‘partners in crime’.

The vet has aged him around 2 years old but he still displays puppy behavior and is very playful. He is house-trained and has learned few basic commands: sit and recall. As you would expect Harry loves food which makes him receptive to training. From day one Harry has been found to be a very loving dog. He loves to curl up beside you on the sofa and likes being stroked. He is good with being left alone for a period of time. A Kong is filled with his chow to distract him when leaving. He really enjoys his walks first thing in the morning and at sunset and walks well on a lead as well, does get some off lead time.
He is a bit wary of some people, there is no rhyme nor reason to this. Harry dislikes bicycles and he will bark at people who come to the house who he doesn’t know. He shies away from household items the hoover, mop, broom anything he doesn’t know or possibly has never been around.

Despite his uncertain start in life Harry will make a wonderful companion.
