More About Jojo

Jojo was chained and starved by a known animal cruelty offender and emergency rescued under police escort by the RSPCA, as they have legal right to remove abused animals from properties. She’s a young female, very friendly and affectionate with people, loves pats, and has a playful sweet temperament.  Jojo however must remain the only pet in the home, no other dogs or cats.  She can’t be left unattended in a fenced area because she learned to jump when she was confined 24/7 on a heavy chain. It appears that at some point she has had litters of pups.

When she first arrived she didn’t like other dogs she has since mellowed and is now getting along just fine with other dogs however because of her past it would always make sense to do a careful introduction.

Jojo desperately needs to be saved.  She is currently languishing at the RSPCA and there is little chance of ever finding her a home in Barbados.  The only glimmer of a real life that she gets is when her ‘savior’ goes and takes her for a ride to the beach.  Just for a short time, she can experience the life that she dreams of.  Please help JoJo’s dream to come true…..

Jojo is approximately 35lbs
