Juniper

This is Juniper, one of a litter of 4 : her siblings are Tobasco, Anise and  Angelica – The Spice Pups!

They were surrendered after an unwanted pregnancy. The owner could not care for them. He didn’t want to surrender the mother but we have since managed to get her spayed – so no more puppies.

Juniper can be a bit of a wallflower at first.  To observe her she is spirited and energetic, loves to play with other dogs and gets along well with them.  She does get along with people, however is shy at first – she will not approach in preliminary interactions – you will be rewarded if you show patience and let her come to you.  She will warm up.  She is not great at leash walking, but we feel that is likely linked to access, opportunity and also her trust issues with people. With time and patience she will open up, and is looking forward to a home and family that will encourage her and help build her confidence.

Juniper is approximately 26 lbs.
