What to Expect
Formerly The Joy Crew, please watch the Sweet Spott Singers video at the top of this page.
A connective singing experience intended to transport attendees to a centered, vibrant, shame-free space: In their own bodies and with each other. Joyous and freeing – guaranteed to make you happy, laugh and smile! Sing, Dance and just be… set yourself free!
You’ll learn breath-strengthening warm-ups and exercises. No music reading involved. A call/response technique effectively gets all voices on board singing rounds, chants, and harmonized melodies. Before you know it, you’ll be moving and singing powerful, uplifting songs from all over the world.
The Location
This event will be held at Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary on the beautiful rustic East Coast of Barbados, a scenic outdoor setting on 4 acres of lush tropical land with a stunning sea view. The rescue cats at Ocean Acres roam free, sheltering over 160+ cats, they’ll be sure to pay you a friendly visit.
Who Can Attend
Even if you can’t sing or never have before – it’s an experience to be enjoyed by all. Remember this is ‘Just Fur Fun’ – come along and sing-a-long! Everyone is welcome. Singles, couples, friends and family – business owners; treat your staff to a team-bonding activity.
