This is a dog from Woodbourne Kennels and Rescue. We are helping to rehome these dogs. In early September 2023, Dorin Boyce, the proprietor of the kennels, suffered a horrendous attack in her home and was robbed. She has been badly hurt and hospitalized. This is a huge blow to all of us, but massively so for the dogs of Woodbourne. They need all the help they can get. Please consider adopting a Woodbourne dog.
Madison arrived at WBK on the 29th March 2019 after being picked up from a road traffic accident in the Carrington Sugar Factory. On examination it was thought she had suffered a head injury. When she moved she walked – in circles – typical from a bad knock on the head. She was fostered by one of our vet techs and was completely house trained. She arrived at Woodbourne a month later, full of beans but still spinning. She couldn’t stay at the residence as there are guinea fowl, peacocks, doves and chickens – all of which fascinated our gal to the extent she would chase everything that moved! It took a few months but there was an improvement in her movements. To this day she still spins in circles when excited. Maddie is a special little one who loves to be around people. She lives very happily with a mixture of other dogs, small medium and very large but there is no animosity. Madison is an active little girl. Very pleased to see everyone and full of life. She really does deserve a home and we are hoping she will be picked.
Madison is approximately 28lbs
