Martia

One morning in early June, our staff came in to work to see this beautiful girl running around our yard with her new best friend Blondie. She was very friendly right from the start but it was obvious she had no training and little to no human interaction. Through hard work and time, Martia learned the basics of being a good girl. She learned to sit on command and for food, as well as learned gate training very quickly. She is very food motivated, which makes her an excellent candidate for formal training. She loves her daily walks and is a very happy dog. She is very attached to Blondie and has showed signs of being able to jump when she is not around him, so high fencing is a must for her new home.

Martia is a Barbados Ruffugee being fostered in Canada and awaiting a forever home. Check back soon for further updates.
