Maya

**UPDATE – Maya has been adopted! She travelled to Canada on our MJET Freedom Flight on November 26th and has found a new home thanks to the generosity of our amazing friends here at MJet Barbados and our wonderful rescue partners in Canada.

Maya is a real cuddle bear.

She is the sister of Marconi. They are both a little reserved, she is a  bit more shy than Marconi. They will both very soon come around. They very much enjoy being held, but we think they’ve most likely had some rough handling in the past. They are adorable little dogs. They are a bit like a Bajan version of a Dachshund! Very small, pretty pointed noses and longish bodies – short legs! They are happy among other dogs and we really can’t imagine they would have problems with cats. They are perfect lap dog material, but those little legs can run if you want them to! We can’t wait to find out who the lucky person is going to be, to have the pleasure of loving these little ones forever!  When you hold Maya she cuddles into you as if she never wants to let you go.
