More About Penny

This is a dog from Woodbourne Kennels and Rescue. We are helping to rehome these dogs. In early September 2023, Dorin Boyce, the proprietor of the kennels, suffered a horrendous attack in her home and was robbed. She has been badly hurt and hospitalized. This is a huge blow to all of us, but massively so for the dogs of Woodbourne. They need all the help they can get. Please consider adopting a Woodbourne dog.

Penny and her companion Bruce were rescued from the streets of Barbados – travelling in a pack of 4. Believed abandoned, elusive but were eventually brought into the kennels. We believe they were family pets at some point.   They are now extremely friendly dogs who adore one another and get along very well with other dogs.  Penny is shy at first until she knows you but Buddy gives her the confidence. They give huge “smiles” when around humans, and have good manners. Penny has not been tested with cats but we believe she could be introduced.

Penny is approximately 19lbs
