Rashad

**UPDATE – Rashad has been adopted! He travelled to Canada on our MJET Freedom Flight on November 26th and has found a new home thanks to the generosity of our amazing friends here at MJet Barbados and our wonderful rescue partners in Canada.

Rashad was rescued in April 2022 with his sister Ramona. They are both quite active dogs and would like a home with a large secured yard to run around and stretch their legs. They would both make ideal jogging buddies. Both Rashad and Ramona are fun to play with and they love running after balls and playing tug of war.   Rashad is a social guy and gets along well with other dogs. At first separation would be needed when feeding him around other dogs as he has shown some indications of being food dominant when approached by other dogs, but no issues when being approached by humans when eating – you can take food away from him without caution. Their best home would have a higher fence given they bounce and jump when they play.

Rashad would like to chase our cats; if he could, he would.  This is not always indicative of how dogs behave when they live in a home with a cat. The cats get him quite excited when the tease him from the other side of the fence.  He is fine around children, but he is lively, so small children need supervision.  He also has not learned to keep all 4 feet on the ground and can jump up for attention.

Rashad is approximately 30lbs
