Rockie

This poor boy has been homeless for too long.  His long time owner died and he was sent to a local vet as there was no family for him to go to.  He remained there for over a year.  A group of people found out about him and felt sorry for him and took him out of the vet, and put him in a boarding kennel.  He has had a couple of attempts at being adopted but with no success – through NO FAULT of his.  His first adopter didn’t manage to keep the gate shut, so poor Rockie was not secure.  His second potential adopter decided he didn’t want a dog after all.  So now Rockie is with us.  We are hoping we can work some magic for him.

He’s a calm boy.  He would be well suited to being an only dog as he is very comfortable in the company of people.  He needs an organized, well managed introduction to other dogs.  He’s a fabulous friend and companion who really deserves a chance to spend his golden years in comfort.

Rockie has a benign growth on his penis.  No treatment is required, although it should be monitored.  Medical records can be provided.
