Shadow Boy

Shadow was found with her sibling as a puppy snuggled together underneath an east coast hotel cold, hungry and abandoned. Shadow and her sister were adopted and lived a beautiful life as indoor dogs by night and daytime outdoor dogs.  As time passed shadow grew closer and closer to the children of her family, she absolutely adores children and they are drawn to her.

Unfortunately as time passed Shadow and her sisters acquired a ‘free spirit’ and took to escaping to go on countryside adventures.  This was not well received by local farmers and sadly Shadow’s sister was killed by one of them.

In order to protect Shadow from the same fate she had to be kept indoors.  She is an escape artist, and she can climb – hop – and scale any fence in her way and her family just couldn’t manage to keep her in.  She is now safely fostered.

Shadow is sweet, loving and a very smart girl and she makes friends with everyone who crosses her path. She is what you might call a social butter fly and snuggle bunny. However her ideal home is one where she is an indoor dog, and goes for walks with her humans on a leash. She really needs a home with children, surrounded by children is when she’s most happy.

She’s just a lovely girl that’s been through a lot – from her early rescue to a loving home, losing her sister and now she’s in a foster home.

We really want to find a safe haven and forever home for this sweet girl.
