When Aaron arrived at Ocean Acres in 2024, he was skeletally thin, frightened, and barely able to stand. With time, care, and love, he has blossomed into a handsome 64‑pound young dog who radiates kindness.

Aaron is gentle and affectionate with people, and his medium to low energy level makes him easy to live with. He is happy to relax or entertain himself with toys, and he especially loves toys and playing with coconuts. Over time he has become confident and sociable, and he enjoys meeting new people.
He gets along with other dogs, and his closest companion is Alivia, his long‑term partner. It would be wonderful if they could stay together, but Aaron would also thrive as an only dog or in a multi‑dog household. He walks well on lead and enjoys outings, he travels well in a car. He is fine with children, though as a large dog he will need the usual supervision. Since he has never lived in a home before, he will need guidance with rules and boundaries.
Aaron has come so far from the nervous, starving boy he once was. Today, he is a confident, loving companion ready to share his heart with a family. It is sad for him to linger at Ocean Acres when he has so much joy to give. Whether adopted with Alivia or on his own, Aaron is sure to bring warmth, loyalty, and happiness to his forever home.
