Bella

Bella had lived for a very long time on the beach at Batts Rock with her companion Luke.  While Luke would happily come for food and pets, Bella always ate the food but didn’t trust people enough to be caught.  It took a lot of patience and dedication for one very committed volunteer to visit her daily for a long period of time, until she finally won her trust.  Bella is a calm, gentle girl.  She’s still a little on the shy side but that would improve quickly if she could get the opportunity to live in a home and get used to family life and a routine.  She gets along with other dogs, and is non reactive to our cats.  We think at this stage she would be better in a home with older, calmer children.

Bella is approximately 19lbs. Bella has been adopted in Canada.
