More About Bex

Bex was found by some visitors that were on holiday in Barbados in July 2022. They called to say they found a very skinny dog and asked to bring her to Ocean Acres – she was thin and poorly, her blood count was low and she spent her first few days at the vet. Now…she’s doing so well and has recovered so nicely! She absolutely adores people, good with kids, though not great with other dogs – we are continuing to try to find a dog she might like. Bex could be introduced to other dogs on walks. She walks nicely on a leash, not food possessive despite having been starved. She’s very appreciative that her life has taken such a turn for the better – that she’s got food, a bed and attention. She would be a lovely single dog pet – very fun, good in the car, you can take her anywhere. Good for long walks and hikes, she loves to exercise. But also doesn’t need to have a really active home – she’s happy to lie about and get petted. She just wants to be with YOU. She will probably need some help to get used to being able to live in an actual house but she would LOVE the chance to learn. She is a sweet girl that deserves a home with lots of hugs and humans to call her own. She will make a wonderful friend and pet for the lucky person that gets to know her.

Bex is approximately 46lbs
