Bjorn

**UPDATE – Bjorn has been adopted! He travelled to Canada on our MJET Freedom Flight on November 26th and has found a new home thanks to the generosity of our amazing friends here at MJet Barbados and our wonderful rescue partners in Canada.

In early November 2023, Bjorn was found with his brother Benny, dumped along with some old mattresses and appliances.  They were hiding and hanging around the mattresses.  Waiting presumably for the nasty person to come back for them.  They were shy and frightened, but a tasty tin of cat food enticed these two hungry, skinny boys and we managed to secure them.  They very quickly decided that being caught was the best thing.  They are joyful little guys.  They are still quite skittish with loud traffic noises, and situations they are not used to – and right now there are quite a few things they are not used to.  But it’s very early days for them.  They will definitely come around very quickly.  When introduced to new dogs they are quiet and submissive.  They love being cuddled and jump up into arms and are really affectionate.  They learned to walk on a lead really quickly.  These boys haven’t had much fun in their lives so far.  Things are only going to get better for them now.

They are quite bonded, but could probably split up, so long as they had lots of love and company.  Right now, they would be best in a calm and happy home.  They have got so much love to give.  They are perfect lap dogs, and we’re sure they will learn to play, they have never had any toys.
