Brownie

These two sweet souls were beloved family dogs who have spent their lives together in a caring home. Sadly, their family recently had to make the difficult decision to surrender them when an elderly mother moved into the household and is severely allergic to dogs.

Both Brownie and Athina are incredibly affectionate, happy, and well-socialized dogs who truly enjoy being around people. They are each 3 years old and neutered. Brownie (male) weighs about 29 lbs Athina (female) weighs about 21 lbs

They have lived together for a long time and share a lovely bond, so they would certainly be happy to go to a home together. However, they are also confident and adaptable enough to be adopted separately if the right families come along.

Both dogs are good with other dogs, but they would also be perfectly happy living as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention. After spending their whole lives with one family, they suddenly find themselves at Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary and are hoping for a fresh start, a new home, and a family to love again.
