Dutchy

**UPDATE – Dutch has been adopted! She travelled to Canada on our MJET Freedom Flight on November 26th and has found a new home thanks to the generosity of our amazing friends here at MJet Barbados and our wonderful rescue partners in Canada.

Dutchy was brought to our attention by someone who worked at a hospital, the grounds of which Dutchy would  frequent.  They would fed her scraps.  It was noticed that she appeared unwell and was off her food.  It took nearly 3 hours to convince Dutchy to be caught!  She was whisked off to the vet where she was diagnosed with tick fever.

With the right medication Dutchy soon recovered and it was a delight to see her all happy, playful and joyous.  She is an easy dog and mixes well with others.  She likes people and walks nicely on a lead.  Dutchy would be ok in a home with children.  She seems to not be good with cats, however, that can be different when in a home with a ‘family’ cat, as opposed to the naughty cats at Ocean Acres that tease the dogs.
