More About Emory

Meet Emory!
This sweet little boy came to us from a home with several other dogs. While he wasn’t badly neglected, he didn’t get much human attention or social interaction, so the world felt a bit strange to him at first. Understandably, Emory was hesitant around people in the beginning, but with patience and kindness, he’s blossomed into a friendly, affectionate little fella who now loves cuddles, pets, and going for walks with his favorite humans.

With other dogs, Emory prefers polite, slow introductions, he’s not a fan of being crowded or rushed. Once he feels comfortable, he’s happy to make friends, but he would also do very well as an only dog. He’s fine with cats, too. He is currently living with Jersey, a small female dog.
Despite is small size, Emory is able to jump fences and escape, so a secure home is required, ideally one where he lives inside and goes for walks with his people. He should not be left outside alone unsupervised, especially when he first goes to his new home.

Emory has a medium-to-low energy level, making him an easygoing companion for a relaxed household. He travels well in the car, enjoys his adventures, and is always happy to spend time with his people.

This little guy is ready to find a home where he’ll be cherished and loved as the special companion he is.

Emory is approximately 16lbs

Emory has been adopted in Canada.
