Humphrey

Humphrey came to us alongside a female dog named Harlow after their owner sadly became too unwell to continue caring for them. They had lived a quiet life together in a loving home, but hadn’t been overly socialized outside of it.

When they first arrived, Humphrey and Harlow were very bonded, but since living separately Humphrey has blossomed into a friendly and adaptable boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both male and female. He is also calm and unreactive around our cats.

Humphrey walks beautifully on a lead and really enjoys getting out for walks and exploring. He has a playful side, loves snacks and treats, and is also very affectionate once he feels comfortable — cuddles are definitely one of his favourite things.

He has a medium energy level and would likely enjoy living with another friendly dog, as canine companionship seems to help him feel confident and settled.

Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, Humphrey may be a little shy at first, but he overcame this very quickly when he arrived with us and soon showed us his sweet and loving personality. Humphrey is approximately 3 years old and weighs around 30 pounds. He has a beautiful fluffy coat that will likely benefit from regular grooming, although he has never been professionally groomed before.

Humphrey is a gentle, loving boy who is ready to find a patient and caring forever home.
