Jersey
- Date Adopted: November 28, 2025
Jersey was living a sad life on the beach, scavenging for food and surviving the best she could. She was wary of people as her experiences with them had not been nice. She inevitably had a litter of pups every time she came in heat and she was in a pregnant state when she was finally rescued. It’s a sad fact that we have to spay/abort because we just can’t allow more puppies to born in a country where we have no homes for the ones we already have. Jersey quickly recovered from her procedure, and better than that, regained her faith in humans. She is now a happy friendly girl, who loves to go for a walk and get petted. She’s a relatively low energy dog, she’d enjoy a quiet life in a home without children or at least calm, dog-respectful children. She would like the company of another calm balanced dog, who could introduce her to the joys of ‘couch potato’ life and the comfort she deserves.
Jersey is approximately 26lbs
Jersey has been adopted in Canada.
