Kenza

Kenza arrived at Ocean Acres in December 2025 with her 10 tiny puppies. Completely unsocialised and never handled, she wanted nothing to do with people at first. We gave her space while she nursed her babies, and she did a wonderful job — all thrived and have since been adopted. Now it’s Kenza’s turn to find her forever home.

With patience, care, and gentle encouragement, Kenza has made remarkable progress. At first resistant and even a little snappy, she slowly learned to trust. She now greets us with excited tail wags, eager for her walks — which she loves and does beautifully. She is well-mannered, never pulls on the leash, and is an absolute delight to walk. Though still a little reticent about being petted, she is no longer snappy; she simply steps back if she feels unsure. Every day she grows in confidence and enjoys life more.

Kenza is a gentle soul, fine around cats and other dogs, though she prefers calm companions rather than excitable or wild ones. She is low energy, clean in her pen, and would be a wonderful companion. She has never lived in a home, so she will need an experienced caregiver who understands her journey and can continue to build her trust. As of May 26, 2026, Kenza is making progress every day — she’s a special girl who has come a long way and deserves her chance at love and comfort.
