Knox

Meet Knox, a charming and well-behaved dog with a big heart and a love for human companionship. Rescued after wandering and seeking shelter near people’s homes. Unfortunately the people in the neighbourhood didn’t like dogs, and urgently wanted him removed. We collected him and he’s quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers. He loves accompanying his people on trips out and about, he’s very well socialised now, because he’s so easy to handle he always gets chosen for events and days out! Knox walks beautifully on a lead and is very good in the car, making him an ideal travel buddy.

While Knox enjoys life with humans of all ages and sizes, he likes to be the only pet. He doesn’t get along well with other animals and tends to prefer his own space and will chase cats if given the chance. He is happy to walk alongside other dogs, he just doesn’t like them to live with him or expect him to play with them. Knox is a true people person, happy, affectionate, and content to be your special furry friend. Know would be an ideal first dog, for people who wanted just one pet. He has never lived in a house as far as we know, so would need help learning the basics. If you have room in your life for a loyal companion who loves your company above all else, Knox is ready to become your forever friend. It really is time someone adopted Knox; as much as we love him, there is so much more he has to give.
