Lacey

Cagney and Lacey first came to Ocean Acres as tiny puppies and were adopted together into a loving home. For the past four years, they’ve lived a happy life — but due to a change in circumstances, their adopter could no longer keep them. Now, these two sweet dogs have returned to us and are once again looking for a forever family.

Both are friendly, confident, and easy-going — the kind of dogs that settle right into family life. They’re great with children and cats, walk nicely on a lead, and are fully house-trained. With their medium-to-low energy levels, Cagney and Lacey are content to join you for a stroll or just relax by your side.

Lacey has a heart full of love and energy. She’s incredibly friendly and great with people and other dogs. She adores outdoor adventures such as long hikes along the coast, beach days, and chasing birds and crabs are her absolute favorites. She’s also very intelligent and quick to learn new commands.
Sadly, Lacey was once attacked by a stray dog who bit off a small piece of her ear, but she’s fully healed and remains the same gentle, affectionate soul.
