Lollipop

Lollipop’s past was filled with pain — she endured a life of abuse, beaten and hurt by the person who was responsible for her care. Somehow, she was liberated, and that’s when Ocean Acres stepped in to give her the urgent veterinary care, safety, and love she so desperately needed.
Through it all, Lollipop never lost her gentle spirit. She was never angry, aggressive, or defensive. Instead, she remained sweet, affectionate, and hopeful. Now that she’s healthy and healing, her true personality shines: she’s quick to roll over for belly rubs, and she’ll gently place her paw on you to ask for just a little more love. She never wants the cuddles to end.

Lollipop walks beautifully on a lead and makes a wonderful walking partner. She’s not a fan of cats — she would chase them — and while she isn’t massively reactive to other dogs, she would be happiest as an only dog. After struggling so hard to survive, what she longs for now is peace, security, and unconditional love. It should be noted that Lollipop is a good jumper and could easily escape over fences, she should not be left outside unattended.

Lollipop still bears some of the physical scars from her previous life; her eyes are cloudy from being tied outside in too much sunshine with no shade. But she is now ready for the next chapter she so deserves: a home where she is respected, cherished, and treated with kindness. In return, she will repay you with affection tenfold.
