Philly

When we first met Philly he was in a dreadful state, skeletal in fact.  With love and care he is now a handsome and happy boy.  Philly can be excitable when you first meet him, he’s so pleased to see everyone.  He soon calms down and walks nicely on a lead.  He has been on beach walks with volunteers and was very well behaved.  He likes to play and run in the paddocks with the other dogs, he is medium energy.  Philly is happy to play with energetic dogs and could go for longer walks or hikes, but he would equally be happy with a sit down and some attention.  Older children might be better because of his tendency to get over excited at first greeting – however, this might subside when he is in a home and a routine.
