Shasta

Shasta’s story began on the streets, painfully thin and alone. Thankfully, a kind-hearted rescuer took her in for the night, giving her a taste of safety and care. However, they couldn’t keep her, so Shasta came to Ocean Acres.
With good food, gentle care, and plenty of love, Shasta quickly blossomed. Her weight came back, her coat gleamed, and her spirit soared. Today, she’s a happy, affectionate girl who adores people and thrives on companionship.
Shasta spent time in foster care, living indoors with a large male German Shepherd and got along well with him. She currently lives at Ocean Acres with a large male mastiff. However, she’s definitely not suited to life with small dogs or cats. She would be great as the only dog in the home, where she can shine as a loyal companion and snuggle buddy.

With medium energy, Shasta is up for playtime and walks and is well behaved on leash, but equally content curled up somewhere cozy.
