It costs around $25,000 bds every month to run and maintain Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary. Sheltering over 150 dogs and cats, now more than ever, we need your support! By sponsoring a dog or cat, your contribution will help provide the best care for their needs: Spay/Neuter Surgery, Food, Worm, Tick and Flea Treatments, Veterinary Care, Transport Costs, Staff Care and all that’s required to ensure they live the best happy, healthy lives during their stay at Ocean Acres.
By supporting Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary you help to:
- Reduce the number of strays on the island
- Reduce the number of animals to be euthanised
- Reduce animal cruelty in Barbados
- Re-home and rehabilitate abused, abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in Barbados
Sponsor a Cat: US$25 a month
When we took-over the previous charity, we inherited their 60+ cats, these are our resident cats and we also shelter new cats and kittens for adoption.
Special Care: US$45 a month
The Special Care Sponsorship is for dogs that require extra care and attention, special medication and treatments, special diets and veterinary care.
Sponsor a Dog: US$35 a month
Sponsor a dog until they’re adopted. Your donation will help provide all the necessary care they need. Help us to continue caring for animals in need.
One-Off Donation
Instead of monthly sponsorship, you can chose to donate a one-off contribution to support your chosen dog or cat. We gratefully appreciate all assistance.
What’s included in the sponsorship
When you sign-up to The Sponsor Club, you’ll receive a sponsorship pack which includes a personalised certificate, a photo introducing you the dog or cat you’re supporting and we’ll send you regular updates throughout the year: emailing you stories, photos and videos on their progress.
