More About Thomas

Thomas was found in September 2023.  He was spotted on the landfill site, struggling up a hill, limping in the hot sun.  He was very pleased to see a human rescuer and gave himself up willingly.  He had a check up at the vet and was neutered.  Fortunately it was nothing serious wrong with his leg, some rest and it soon got better.  He had a superficial wound on his head, but that is healing nicely.  You can see from his picture taken at the vet that he was a bit sad on his rescue day.  He very quickly got over that and is a happy boy now.  He is a super friendly with beautiful eyes, that he uses to gaze at you adoringly.  He absolutely loves people and can’t get close enough. It’s hard to get photos of him because he won’t move away!   Even though he doesn’t know his name, when you call him he comes running.  He walks well on a lead. In terms of his physique, he’s a short dog, not tall, but stocky, with big paws.  Another amazing genetic creation!

He interacts fine with female dogs and male dogs of a similar size to him.  He seems to have fairly strong opinions about cats; not in a good way.  Thomas is serious about his food, and should be fed separately from other dogs or he would be aggressively protective of it.

Thomas is now living happily in Canada!
