Waffles

Waffles was surrendered to us in February 2022 because his owner couldn’t look after him anymore. Waffles is a friendly fella, everyone’s favorite when they come to visit. He enjoys going for walks and has been known to have a spell of the zoomies. Waffles gets on great with other dogs and over the years has shared with many different ones.

Waffles was adopted from us once in 2022, as an only dog, but was returned after just a few days because he displayed some guarding over toys. He NEVER shows anything remotely like resource guarding with us. We have tested him in as many situations as we can, and he doesn’t do it. However, life at Ocean Acres is different to life in a home, so his adopter should be aware of this and we will give advice and suggestions and can recommend a trainer if necessary. We hope that someone will give him a chance and he doesn’t have to spend his whole life being the ‘life and soul’ of the shelter.

Waffles has been adopted locally in Barbados!
