Wycliffe

Wycliffe’s life changed when a passerby saw him and another dog, Elvis, chained and starving outside a home. With compassion and cooperation, they were surrendered to Ocean Acres, where both quickly began to thrive. Once extremely thin and unsocialized, Wycliffe has put on healthy weight and adjusted beautifully to his new life.

He walks nicely on a lead and has even attended social events, where he’s proven himself calm and well-behaved in public. Wycliffe gets along wonderfully with female dogs, though he can be uncertain around males, and he cannot be trusted around cats. With people and dog-savvy children, however, he is affectionate and gentle.

Wycliffe could happily live as an only dog or alongside a female companion. He’s a calm, steady presence who’s ready to bring love and loyalty to his forever home.
