Ernie
- Date Adopted: November 10, 2024
Someone called us about a little dog stuck in a storm drain, running up and down, apparently he’d been there for over a week. We went to look for him and we caught him, or rather he gave himself up! Ernie is adorable. He loves to cuddle up and is well behaved in the house. Currently fostered and living with 8 other female dogs. He doesn’t seem to mind spending time in his crate, enjoys his morning stroll and is an all round good guy.
Ernie has a slight veterinary issue – 2 fused vertebrae. We have his x-rays and vet report. His condition doesn’t require any further treatment, and is easily managed and doesn’t alter his demeanor at all. Our vet has prescribed gabapentin for long term use. Ernie would love a home and a family; he has a lot to give, especially his goofy smiles. He’s a low maintenance dog, enjoys his toys but not high energy. He would be fine in a home with other pets or as an only dog getting lots of love.
Ernie was adopted locally in Barbados
Ernie weighs approximately 14lbs
