Ashari

Ashari is a gentle and loyal girl with a heart full of love. She came to us with two surviving puppies, who have since found homes in Canada, and now it’s her turn to shine. Calm and affectionate, she is adored by our volunteers and walks beautifully on a lead. Ashari enjoys the company of people probably more than other dogs, which makes her an ideal companion as the only dog in a family.

Although she has never lived in a house or been crated, she keeps her pen spotless and shows a natural sense of cleanliness. She is clever and agile, able to jump out of pens if she chooses, so she should not be left loose, unattended. Sensitive and deeply devoted, Ashari once revealed her true nature when a volunteer slipped during a walk—she stayed faithfully by their side until help arrived, proving her instinct to care and protect. At approximately three years old and weighing 38 pounds, Ashari is the perfect size for a family looking for a loving, medium-sized companion. She is ready to bring her calm spirit, loyalty, and affection into a forever home where she can be cherished.
