The Freedom Flight Crisis Appeal

The world has endured the devastating effects of COVID-19, Barbados is small island dependent on tourism, people are struggling financially. This has had a serious impact on animal welfare, with a momentous rise in pet surrenders, neglect and abandonment. At Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary, we shelter over 150+ rescue dogs, we are full to capacity, we simply don’t have the space to house any more. We’ve collaborated with Eastern Ontario Potcake Rescue (EOPR) to fly 200 dogs from Barbados to Canada.
