More About Champy

Champy was found dumped in a gutter on the side of a quiet road, starving, with non contagious mainge – no hair and abused by the elements and almost blind.  He spent three weeks at the vet before being placed in a loving foster home.

With extra diligent care, plentiful food and two female canine companions, Champy came into himself.  What emerged was a rather large pup, full of life and love for everyone he met.  His hair grew out and so did his personality, saying “Here I am, big, beautiful and with so much love to give!”.   He now can see almost fully and lives a normal life where once he was condemned to perish.

He sometimes sits quietly and we wonder what he is thinking, maybe it is of the lucky person who will love him with everything that he is.    When he leaves, his fosterer will shed tears, she has loved him too, an Champy will take a piece of her heart with him.

What a beautiful success story for this beautiful deserving boy.
