Cookee

Cookie came to us with her 5 puppies in a very malnourished and neglected state.  She was skeletal and had been doing her very best to nurse her worm ridden puppies.  Her warm and loving nature was apparent from the start.  It wasn’t long before she started to thrive, put on weight and enjoy life again.  Her puppies are now all adopted and she is free to play with her pals and have fun.  Running around in the paddock and making friends with visitors and volunteers are favorite things for Cookie.  She gets on well with other dogs and is very easy to care for.
