Diamond

Meet beautiful Diamond. This poor girl was found in a dire state, severely anemic and on the verge of starvation, with her 5 remaining young puppies to look after (Onyx, Pearl, Coral, Opal, Zircon). Fortunately we were able to rescue them all, and after a life saving blood transfusion and some love and attention, she is now in good health. Diamond has always lived as an outdoor dog and due to the neglect she has faced in her life she was initially a very timid girl and took some time and space to feel confident. She has never shown any aggression at all.  She is gentle. Diamond is now living in a foster home with Bilbo and is quite the socialite! Bilbo and diamond are quite a couple and really lie each other.  Diamond has come a long way and so quickly – she just needed a loving home and someone to show her how to be a dog with a human that loves her. She goes out to wine and cheese parties and has absolutely blossomed.  Whoever takes Diamond into their heart and home will still need to be careful at first as she may well be uncertain in new surroundings, it’s best to be aware of her history and take precautions until she is well settled.  If she got loose and scared herself, she may not immediately come back.

Diamond is full of love.  Those big eyes just want to trust and experience kindness and care.  It’s extremely rewarding to help dogs like Diamond, and once they dare to love you, they love you totally and forever.
