Fergal

Fergal’s story began in a residential area, where he wandered into a gated community, extremely thin and in need of help. Many noticed him, but only one kind person stepped forward, secured him safely, and called Ocean Acres. From the moment we picked him up, Fergal was so pleased to be rescued—and he’s never looked back.

Now healthy, happy, and full of life, Fergal has blossomed into a handsome boy with a loving personality. He’s affectionate, friendly, and has settled beautifully into sanctuary life. He enjoys his walks, walks nicely on a lead, and gets along well with other dogs. He has a medium energy level—enough to enjoy fun and play, but also happy to relax with his people.

Fergal could live happily in a home with other pets or as an only dog. He hasn’t had much experience with children, but he has met some of our younger volunteers and responded well—we believe he would do fine with dog-savvy kids. He appears to be non reactive towards cats. Fergal is ready for his next adventure: a forever family to love and be loved by.
