This is a dog from Woodbourne Kennels and Rescue. We are helping to rehome these dogs. In early September 2023, Dorin Boyce, the proprietor of the kennels, suffered a horrendous attack in her home and was robbed. She has been badly hurt and hospitalized. This is a huge blow to all of us, but massively so for the dogs of Woodbourne. They need all the help they can get. Please consider adopting a Woodbourne dog.
Ginger was found at Hope Plantation and arrive at Woodbourne is Feb 2022. She was in poor condition and had obviously been on the road for a while. She’s a quiet friendly type who isn’t keen on small dogs (and possibly other females) but interacts well with male larger breeds. She is alert and will come on command. Ginger is an independent character, not fussed about cuddles but loves to be groomed. She lives happily with her big friend Laurence. She does pull her bedding out to lay on but she is not a chewer. Ginger would go well in a home that takes exercise as an only dog or with a large breed male as a companion.
Ginger is approximately 54lbs
