Meet Jacie, a gentle little soul with a heart full of love and a playful spirit waiting to shine. This 12-pound sweetheart was found as a stray on the streets of Barbados, and she’s been learning every day that the world can be a safe and happy place.

Jacie can be shy and timid when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness she warms up and shows her affectionate side. Once she trusts you, she loves to play, chase her toys, watch TV, and if you let her share your bed — you’ll have her loyalty forever.

She likes other dogs and walks well on leash, and settles calmly in her crate. Jacie truly has the kindest nature and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. When she was rescued, Jacie had no fur, so she’ll need regular baths every 2–4 weeks to keep her coat shiny and healthy. She’s learning more each day and growing in confidence as she discovers life can be full of comfort, love, and fun.

Jacie would thrive in a patient, loving home that will help her continue building confidence and give her the security she deserves. She would likely also do well in a home with another dog, but that’s not necessary. In return, she’ll give endless sweetness, companionship, and gentle love.
