Jonathan’s found himself at Ocean Acres began when his beloved person passed away, leaving him in need of a new start. Despite this loss, Jonathan has settled in well and proved to be an easy-going and gentle soul. He gets along well with other dogs and shows no reaction to cats, making him a versatile companion for many types of households.

He walks nicely on a lead and would thrive either in a home with other pets or as the only dog, happy to adapt to whichever environment he finds himself in. With his medium to low energy, Jonathan is a straightforward and uncomplicated dog who would suit most lifestyles. He previously lived in a house with another dog, who sadly passed away shortly after their person did, so he is familiar with the comfort of a home setting. At approximately four years old and weighing around 37 pounds, Jonathan is the perfect size for families or individuals seeking a loyal, balanced companion.
