More About Pheonix
Phoenix rose from the ashes. She was in a pile of wood that was set on fire. She survived that but only to continue her life on the streets, not knowing what it was like to have a home, a safe place to sleep, or a steady meal. It took many months of coaxing and trust building for her to be rescued by a staff member and brought in. She was riddled with fleas and ticks and for the first few days she was too scared to do much at all, except lay in a corner and watch us when we were near – with fear in her eyes. it didn’t take too long for her to adjust with the help of another friendly dog. She learned to rust and have fun.
And then one happy day, she was chosen – the story has a happy ending and she has found her wonderful forever home.
