Star
- Date Adopted: January 16, 2022
Star is a shy girl. She was unceremoniously dropped off with us, her owner clearly had no further use for her. Poor Star had been having puppies for too long and had received no socialization. We don’t think she has been shown any kindness. She struggles a bit with new people and will hide herself away. She is a darling girl. She’s not aggressive at all and when you win her trust it feels like a prize! She would definitely improve faster in a home environment with some one to one love and care for her, and a routine. She would probably be better suited to a calm home without young children, they might be too much for her to cope with right now. Star has formed relationships with staff members, so it is possible for her to do this. She gets along just fine with other dogs.
Star has lovely, soulful eyes, as deep as the ocean and full of expression. She’s a thoughtful and intelligent dog and truly deserves to have someone commit to help her build her confidence. Once she trusts you, she will love you forever!
Star is approximately 40 lbs.
