More About Sunday

**UPDATE – This beautiful girl has been adopted and gone to Canada – we are so happy for her to get a new chance at love and life with our amazing friends in the great white north**

Sunday’s child is full of grace and this sweet girl named Sunday sure lives up to her namesake! She has such a lovely and gentle disposition. And did we mention how gorgeous her husky-like face is? She’s so beautiful!

Sunday is a young dog, used to living inside and has a fantastic temperament which would make her a wonderful companion or family pet. She loves to be around people and to play with other dogs, and would do best in a home where there is some company during the day. When she interacts with her foster family’s teen daughter she is very gentle with her. While she hasn’t been around younger children yet its likely that she would do well with children of any age. You would perhaps only want to supervise with smaller children only because she’s a medium sized dog and little ones can get knocked over easily…but that’s true with pets of any size! She loves company and attention and will happily roll over for a little tummy rub or back of the ears rub. She’s very easy going and her ideal day would include breakfast and dinner, a chew toy, a little walk, a play in the garden and a lounging full stretch outside or on the couch to unwind.

Her back story is quite heart breaking – she was pulled from a concrete drain on a Sunday – the Director at Ocean Acres had received a phone call that someone had seen her lying there on a Friday…and passed her again in the same spot on the Sunday. This poor sweet girl had been hit by a car and had a fractured pelvis. She has been resting and recuperating in a foster home and is now healed and ready to find her forever home, someplace she would be loved, cared for and protected from roads and traffic. If you have room for her in your heart we know this gentle sweet should will more than have room for you in hers.
