More About Tuppence

Tuppence was rescued on September 15th 2024 next to a busy highway where she had been spotted two weeks earlier.  It took some time and a trap was necessary to catch.  When she was taken straight to her foster home and taken out of the trap, she just wanted to be hugged.  She was scared and shivering.  From there she went to the vet.  She was in good health other than a bit skinny and tired from being on the run for many weeks.

Tuppence is a gentle little girl, very peaceful and happy to be with other dogs, 5 dogs are in the home where she’s fostered, all females (all rescued!)  Tuppence has fitted right in. She eats well and loves to be held and hugged but also happy to find a little spot to curl up on her own.  We think she would be fine in a home with other dogs, or as the only dog.  There has been no opportunity to test her with cats, but she is so gentle in every other way that we think she would be ok.

In just a very short time this sweet little girl has settled in and made herself at home.

Tuppence has been adopted in Canada

Tuppence is approximately 10lbs
