Tyler

Tyler’s story began in a heartbreaking way—abandoned and tied to a tree, left completely alone. Thankfully, we were alerted in time and brought him to safety at Ocean Acres, where his life quickly turned around. Despite his rough start, Tyler has embraced his new chapter with remarkable ease and now truly enjoys his days with us.

At just one year old, this handsome brown mixed-breed boy is the perfect medium size at around 30 pounds. Tyler has a wonderfully balanced personality—he’s friendly and sociable without being overwhelming, striking that ideal middle ground of confidence and calm. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with children, often making new friends on his walks while keeping his polite manners intact.

Tyler is a happy, easygoing boy who loves the simple joys in life. Playing ball is one of his favorite pastimes, and he has a special love for water—you’ll often find him stretched out in a kiddie pool, soaking up every moment. He walks nicely on a lead, doesn’t jump or bark unnecessarily, and carries himself with a gentle, well-mannered presence.

While loud cars can make him a little nervous, Tyler’s overall temperament makes him a wonderful candidate for many types of homes. He could thrive as a family dog or even as a solo companion, and his adaptable nature would make him a great travel buddy.

Tyler has already proven how resilient and loving he is. Now, he’s just waiting for a home where he can continue to grow, play, and share his bright, joyful spirit.
