Virgo

*UPDATE – We are so happy to report that Virgo has found a forever home here in Barbados! This beautiful girl has the beautiful life she deserves. Congratulations sweet girl.

This gorgeous girl is Virgo.  She was surrendered to us in early September 2023, and that was not a moment too soon.  She had been tied up with a heavy chain for years, probably her whole life.  No one was taking care of her, she would not have survived much longer.  Despite years of loneliness and neglect, she has bounced back to life in the loving arms of her foster mum.  She is so happy!  It’s like she can’t believe just how wonderful her days are now.  She has as much love and food as she can take!

She’s a very pretty girl and is already starting to put on weight.  She has been to the vet and checked out ok.  She must be so much more comfortable now the army of fleas and ticks are gone.  She is not spayed but she will be as soon as she is strong enough.  Virgo has a huge smile on her face, she is without doubt very pleased about her change in circumstance!

She’s behaving really well in the home, has been on a few car rides and short walks; she walks nicely on a lead – no doubt relieved to be rid of the heavy chain!  Her joyful personality is shining through.  Virgo would be an easy dog to manage, and would settle into most homes with ease.  She’s relaxed and is not nervous at all.

We think that at her optimum weight Virgo will be approximately 22lbs
